A major announcement
for Tasmanians.

The Tasmanian Government is announcing the next step in establishing TasInsure – a publicly owned, not-for-profit designed to improve insurance outcomes for Tasmanians.

TasInsure will support households, small businesses and community organisations, to ensure Tasmanian premiums better reflect Tasmanian risks, for the benefit of all Tasmanians.

The TasInsure Assessment and Implementation Pathway are now available.

RACT has been announced as the interim partner to deliver TasInsure, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding with the Tasmanian Government. The partnership will prioritise insurance for hard-to-place sectors, including tourism, hospitality and events. Read the media release here.
